3 Sparks in the Dark – April 17-25

Fuse Theatre will be presenting 3 one-act plays as part of the San Francisco Bay Area Women’s Play Festival April 17-25.
- Because I Went There
In a world where people in positions of power and privilege, can get away with almost everything, the spouse and the parents face the truths about victim blaming/shaming of their beloved partner/child and their own biases. The audience must decide the fate of the brilliant promising athletic student. A compelling exploration of the power struggles between genders through the lens of a sexual assault case.
- Echoes of Them
Explores grief and bereavement through the eyes of five characters struggling to come to terms with the loss of a loved one. New Ground Theatre Dance ensemble integrates modern dance pieces around the themes presented in the play for an integrated performance combining the healing aspects of dance into this new one-woman show.
- Being Me is Ridiculous
A wild ride of a story based on Hanna’s experiences with the diagnosis of a rare brain tumor and the subsequent waves it creates for her life. A one woman show about how one “deals” with the emotional and physical healing at the beginning of one’s adult life
