Fuse Theatre and The Dragon are introducing new and revised online events for the upcoming 2020 Redwood City Play Festival program titled, Co-EXIST: stories of unlikely connection. Committing to expand online platforms and extending the festival throughout the coming months in an effort to open space for important conversations around racism and to support BIPOC and Queer artists – a new Short Play Clinic, Play Studio events, and Rotating Peer Panel discussions are among the planned events.

Co-EXIST Cocktails with August Lead Artists
- Participants enjoy conversations about upcoming programs/events and “cocktails” with some of the August Lead Artists: Tessa Corrie, Peet Cocke, Ali-Moosa Mizra, and Kimberly Ridgeway and others. Moderated by Artistic Directors – Alika and Max Koknar (Dragon) and Stacey Ardelean (Fuse)

Co-EXIST Short Play Clinic
- Two short plays from Bay Area playwrights. Stay with Me by Lorraine Midanik and Playing with Dolls by John Mabey. The event includes a reading of the plays and an interactive feedback session with the playwrights.

Co-EXIST Play Studio – All We Have to Fear…
- All We Have to Fear is a theatrical experience, developed by the Dragon, set in a virtual playground, exploring social and cultural challenges through the lens of an immersive video game to inspire real acts of compassion.

- Transgender Athletes share their experiences in dialogue with each other. Tessa Corrie, director of Love Serving Love by Leanna Keyes, curates a panel of Transgender Athletes for August’s Peer Panel.
